Job summary

Navigant Credit Union is seeking an AVP/Commercial Small Business Relationship Manager to develop and manage small business relationships through lending, deposits, and cash management. The role focuses on originating loans up to $500,000 and expanding customized financial solutions while maintaining credit quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of business banking, commercial lending, or small business lending experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages small business relationships with a credible lending and deposits pipeline.
• Originates and manages loans up to $500,000 including term loans, lines of credit, CRE and SBA loans.
• Analyzes financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and collateral to assess creditworthiness and prepare credit recommendations.
• Manages an assigned portfolio with ongoing monitoring, reviews, and proactive risk identification.
• Promotes cash management and other financial solutions to deepen member relationships.
• Builds referral networks with CPAs, attorneys, brokers, and CRE professionals.
• Maintains internal partnerships to support relationship growth and member wallet share.
• Represents the Credit Union in local chambers, organizations, events, and sponsorships to expand market presence.

Education

BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
