Job summary

Kearny Bank seeks an AVP/Senior Automation Developer to design, build, and support secure automation solutions using Power Platform, RPA, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities. You will work with IT and business stakeholders from intake through deployment, ensuring SDLC controls and audit readiness.

Responsibilities include implementing secure data handling, documenting processes, coordinating testing, and monitoring performance to ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of development and/or automation experience; RPA experience preferred.
• Experience with APIs, data integration and secure credential handling.
• Strong working knowledge of Power Platform and GitHub.
• Exposure to AI enablement preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in regulated environments with change management and documentation discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support automation and application delivery using Power Platform, RPA and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Integrate APIs to enhance automation outcomes.
• Ensure secure data handling patterns aligned to Bank standards.
• Build solutions per secure design, testing, deployment and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align with enterprise controls.
• Translate requirements into well-documented technical solutions.
• Coordinate testing and user acceptance with stakeholders.
• Monitor automation performance and reliability; remediate failures.
• Ensure secure integrations and data flows; document changes for SDLC controls.
