Job summary

PEOPLE INC. in Amherst, NY is seeking an AVP to oversee Self-Directed Services, Community Habilitation, and In-Home Respite. You will lead the Programs as assigned by the Senior Vice President and ensure high-quality services.

Reporting to the Program Services Team, you will ensure regulatory compliance (DOH, Medicaid, OPWDD) and develop policies, while guiding Directors and staff to achieve continuous improvement and strong partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field with supervisory/management experience.
• At least two years of full-time supervisory or management experience and at least one year of clinical experience.
• Associates degree plus 10 years of full-time management experience for developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Self-Directed Services, Community Habilitation, and In-Home Respite.
• Ensure compliance with DOH, Medicaid, OPWDD and agency standards; develop/update policies.
• Provide financial and budget oversight for assigned areas.
• Supervise and develop Program Directors/Supervisors/teams.
• Foster partnerships and language accessibility within People Inc.
