Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead the Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG) in New York. The role focuses on building and managing a major SEC-listed non-traded REIT, overseeing daily cash, accounting, and financial reporting, and ensuring timely client deliverables.

As part of RESIG, you will work with private equity real estate funds, coordinate audits, and leverage Yardi for asset and NAV related tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field is required.
• 5+ years of fund accounting experience, including experience with REITs and/or real estate private equity funds.
• Financial statement preparation experience.

Responsibilities

• Build from the ground up a major SEC listed non-traded REIT.
• Build and maintain relationships with one or more clients, managing client expectations, and meeting all client deliverables.
• Manage and review the daily cash, accounting and financial reporting for the REIT.
• Prepare and review financial statements including but not limited to balance sheet, income statement, stockholder equity, statement of cash flows.
• Prepare and review general ledger and work paper files including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals, etc.
• Preparation and review of the day-to-day operations of the REIT.
• Preparation of required monthly share class pricing.
• Help manage quarterly, year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials.
