Job summary

EisnerAmper in New York, NY seeks an Assistant Vice President for the Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG). You will lead from the ground up a major SEC listed non-traded REIT, manage client relationships, and oversee daily cash, accounting and financial reporting activities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of fund accounting experience, REIT/real estate private equity background, and strong financial statement prep skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field is required.
• 5+ years of fund accounting experience, including experience with REITs and/or real estate private equity funds.
• Financial statement preparation experience.

Responsibilities

• Build from the ground up a major SEC listed non-traded REIT
• Build and maintain relationships with one or more clients, managing client expectations, and meeting all client deliverables
• Manage and review the daily cash, accounting and financial reporting for the REIT
• Prepare and review financial statements including but not limited to balance sheet, income statement, stockholder equity, statement of cash flows
• Prepare and review general ledger and work paper files including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals, etc.
• Preparation and review of the day-to-day operations of the REIT
• Preparation of required monthly share class pricing
• Help manage quarterly, year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials
