South Story Bank & Trust in Huxley, IA seeks an experienced AVP Operations Manager to lead Deposit Operations and Treasury Management, ensuring compliant, efficient and customer-focused operations. You will guide cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and manage key operational projects in collaboration across departments.

The role requires strong banking operations knowledge, a track record of leadership, and the ability to develop policies, controls, and performance metrics

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of banking operations experience.
• At least two years of proven leadership in Treasury Management or Banking Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration preferred.
• AAP or CTP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Deposit Operations and Treasury Management functions.
• Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures and controls.
• Build relationships with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead strategic initiatives, process improvements and technology enhancements.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify trends and cost controls.
• Supervise, coach and develop Deposit Operations and Treasury Management staff.
