Qualifications

• 8+ years of Inland Marine underwriting experience.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% for broker meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Inland Marine within the team appetite.
• Select risks, evaluate program structure, pricing to balance portfolio.
• Develop relationships with brokers/producers to grow distribution.
• Engage retail broker networks through in-person activity and marketing.
• Review engineering data for risk quality and compliance.
• Adhere to CAT guidelines and underwriting discipline.
• Manage portfolio to hit gross written premium and profitability goals.
• Assess reinsurance needs and take appropriate actions.
• Collaborate across disciplines to achieve organizational goals.
• Share underwriting expertise with peers and juniors.
