Ascot Group is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Inland Marine to drive profitable growth with brokers and expand retail distribution. You will work with the Marine team to assess risk, structure programs, and price offerings while building relationships across broker networks.

The role requires strong underwriting skills, business acumen, and the ability to travel up to 30% for meetings and industry events. Dallas, Phoenix, Chicago, Denver, or Kansas City are potential bases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience underwriting Inland Marine insurance.
• Ability to interact with all levels of customers and collaborate with underwriters, claims, and loss control.
• Proven marketing and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Inland Marine within established appetite.
• Select risks, evaluate, and price programs for profitability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and insureds.
• Grow retail broker and agent networks through engagement and marketing.
