Job summary

Healthcare Realty Trust Inc. is seeking an AVP, Infrastructure Capital in Nashville to lead the identification, prioritization, planning and execution of infrastructure capital investments across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Construction Management, Redevelopment, Asset Management, Leasing and Finance to drive reliable operations, risk mitigation, and long-term asset value. You will help establish a proactive, data-driven planning approach using forecasting tools,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and progressive experience in building engineering, infrastructure capital planning, facilities management or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of major building systems and ability to read architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing docs.
• Excellent strategic, analytical, financial, project-management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting a geographically distributed commercial real estate portfolio or complex occupied facilities is preferred.
• Professional Engineer licensure, PMP or facilities-management credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of infrastructure capital planning across HVAC, roofing, elevators, generators, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems.
• Develop and maintain processes to identify, evaluate, forecast, and prioritize infrastructure capital needs across the portfolio.
• Establish prioritization methodologies considering condition, risk, operational impact, tenant experience and finances.
• Partner with Engineering, Construction Management, Redevelopment, Asset Management, Leasing, and Finance on annual and multi-year capital plans.
• Drive data collection and analysis to support planning and investment decisions.
• Lead significant or complex infrastructure projects from scope to closeout and provide updates to senior leadership.
