Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, facilities management, architecture, business, or related field.
• Progressive experience in building engineering, infrastructure capital planning, facilities management or related discipline.
• Knowledge of major building systems and managing infrastructure capital projects.
• Ability to read architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other construction documents.
• Strong strategic, analytical, financial, project-management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with a geographically distributed real estate portfolio or complex occupied facilities preferred.
• Professional Engineer, PMP or facilities-management credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of infrastructure capital planning program including HVAC, roofing, elevators, generators, electrical, plumbing, life-safety.
• Develop processes for identifying, forecasting, and prioritizing infrastructure capital needs across the portfolio.
• Establish capital prioritization methodologies considering condition, risk, operations, and tenant experience.
• Partner with Engineering, Construction, Redevelopment, Asset Management, Leasing, and Finance on capital plans.
• Collaborate with regional teams to implement consistent infrastructure assessment and project delivery.
• Drive collection, maintenance, and analysis of equipment and project data to support decisions.
• Develop portfolio-level investment recommendations and capital allocation strategies.
• Evaluate bulk purchasing opportunities based on forecasted needs and financials.
• Lead planning and execution of large/intricate infrastructure projects with budgeting, procurement, and oversight.
• Monitor project performance, forecast variances, and report to senior leadership.
• Establish program performance measures and support engineering staff with guidance and development.
