Columbia University Facilities & Operations (CUFO) seeks a strategic HR executive to serve as Assistant Vice President, HR (AVP HR). Reporting to the VP for Finance and Administration, the AVP leads CUFO's HR functions and partners with central university offices to advance people strategies, workforce planning, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience in a unionized environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and workforce compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR leadership and workforce planning for CUFO.
• Lead labor relations and contract administration with union leadership.
• Oversee HR operations, compensation, policy, and analytics.
• Partner with central HR, legal, and equity offices to align workforce strategies.
