Poppy Bank seeks an AVP, Human Resources Officer to partner with senior HR leadership in Santa Rosa, guiding recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations. This in-office role requires discretion, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple HR initiatives.

You will ensure compliance with state and federal laws, develop HR policies, mentor managers, and oversee benefits administration while promoting positive employee morale.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in human resources with recruitment, benefits administration, leaves of absence, payroll and HR systems (Paylocity).
• HRCI or SHRM certification desired.
• BA degree in human resources, business, psychology or related fields or combination of equivalent education/experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with all HR matters and manage hiring process and job descriptions.
• Oversee onboarding, benefits enrollment, and new-hire experience.
• Maintain employee records and prepare reports; ensure compliance with laws.
• Partner in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Support HR projects and vendor relations.
• Handle leaves of absence (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA) compliant with laws.
