Job summary

Barclays in Whippany, NJ seeks an Americas Global Contract Services Distribution Negotiator AVP to lead complex derivatives documentation negotiations with clients and internal partners. You will balance legal, commercial, risk and regulatory considerations to negotiate ISDA master agreements and related amendments.

You will manage due diligence, capacity and authority assessments, netting opinions, and collateral enforceability reviews, while ensuring accurate data and alignment with Barclays’

Qualifications

• Expertise in derivatives documentation and negotiation, including hands-on experience negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and related amendments.
• Understanding collateral and counterparty risk frameworks, including CSA, IM and VM requirements.
• Ability to independently manage complex legal and contractual negotiations with clients and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate ISDA Master Agreements and related amendments with clients and internal partners.
• Coordinate with onboarding, credit, collateral management, treasury, tax, sales and trading teams to facilitate onboarding and execution.
• Lead due diligence activities including capacity and authority assessments, netting opinions, and collateral enforceability reviews.
• Develop and implement robust transaction processes and controls in line with Barclays governance.
