Barclays Americas Global Contract Services is seeking an AVP Negotiator to independently manage a portfolio of complex derivatives documentation negotiations in Whippany, NJ. You will drive ISDA master agreements and amendments, coordinating with clients and internal teams to balance legal, commercial, risk, and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Expertise negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and related documents.
• Solid understanding of CSA, IM/VM, and collateral management.
• Experience with securities financing frameworks (MRA/GMRA/GMSLA).
• Ability to manage complex negotiations with clients and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional market practices and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and execute master agreements and amendments, ISDA-centric.
• Lead due diligence and capacity/authority assessments for transactions.
• Coordinate onboarding, credit, collateral, treasury, tax, and trading teams.
• Ensure data integrity and accurate documentation; manage regulatory changes.
• Advise on risk controls and governance within the contract services function.
