Bank of China in New York seeks an experienced attorney to support its Global Markets division. You will draft, negotiate ISDA, VM CSA, GRMA and related agreements, and coordinate with Legal Office and external counsel.

You will monitor regulatory changes, advise management, supervise compliance programs, and assist in credit risk analysis for the global markets business. English and Chinese bilinguals are highly preferred; NY Bar is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; finance/economics minor preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience in global markets (ISDA, derivatives, etc.).
• Regulatory liaison with regulators and external counsel is preferred.
• NY State Bar examination is a plus; bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.

Responsabilités

• Draft and negotiate ISDA, VM CSA, GRMA and related global markets agreements.
• Provide coaching on templates and liaise with Head Office and external counsel.
• Monitor regulatory developments and prepare analytical reports for management.
• Support credit risk controls and maintain proper documentation for compliance.
