Coda Search│Staffing is partnering with a boutique private equity firm in New York to hire an Assistant Controller who will report to the CFO and collaborate with Fund Finance, Tax, and IR teams.

The role focuses on fund financial reporting, analytics, and process improvement as the company builds a new finance team. The candidate will lead monthly closes, budgeting, audits, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a Master's degree and CPA are a plus.
• 9+ years of accounting experience including private equity funds.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and rollout standardized financial operating workflows, governance frameworks, and policies to replace prior processes.
• Own the Fund Finance and Financials including monthly close, and leadership reporting packages with a focus on automation and accuracy.
• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and variance analysis to drive executive decision-making.
• Manage annual funds audits, enhance internal controls, and oversee management agreements

A Boutique High-Growth Private Equity Firm is looking to hire a Assistant Controller, this role will report to CFO working with their Fund Finance, Tax, and IR Teams.

Will be responsible for Fund Financial reporting, Finance Analytics and Analysis. This professional with be instrumental in the growth of the fund financial operations. they are building out a new team and processes.
