Job summary

Blackstone is seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A team in New York. You will act as the primary liaison between Finance and Technology, shaping planning, forecasting, and reporting processes while driving strategic technology initiatives.

You will partner with Corporate FP&A stakeholders, data owners, and technology teams to document requirements, coordinate execution, and ensure solutions align with business goals, with a focus on automation and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in: Business Analysis, FP&A, Finance Transformation, Financial Systems, Project Coordination.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technology solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Corporate FP&A processes including forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and data submissions.
• Document current and future state processes; identify opportunities for automation, improved controls, and efficiency.
• Gather, prioritize, and communicate business requirements to technology teams; validate solutions.
• Support UAT, training, and rollout activities to drive user adoption of new solutions.
• Coordinate finance technology initiatives from requirements through implementation; ensure alignment with business objectives.
