Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY seeks an Associate Vice President (AVP), Facilities, to lead facilities operations, capital planning, and environmental health and safety. Reporting to the CFO/Vice President, Administrative Services, the AVP directs maintenance, space planning, CIP projects, and master planning to support the college mission and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five or more years of related professional experience
• Minimum of five years of progressive administrative experience leading facilities operations in a complex institution
• Experience with community, governmental, and public sector agencies
• Ability to integrate data into decision-making to promote effective practice and policy
• Demonstrated leadership with supervisory responsibility of managers
• Knowledge of NYS Building Code and relevant mechanical codes
• Experience with facilities planning including master and capital improvement plans

Responsabilités

• Oversees planning, maintenance, and life cycle analysis for physical space and facilities infrastructure
• Leads capital projects and coordinates with internal/external stakeholders
• Manages Facilities Operations including Energy Management, Environmental Health & Safety, and Sustainability
• Develops policies, procedures, and adherence to regulations
• Directs budget authority and administrative approvals
• Collaborates with campus community to support student engagement and success
• Leads development of the Facilities Master Plan and CIP projects
• Represents the division on committees and initiatives and prepares annual reports
• Ensures staff development and performance evaluation of direct reports
• Maintains high ethical standards and equity in college operations
