Job summary

iCapital is seeking an Equity Accounting and Reporting Associate to join Corporate Finance in New York. The role focuses on stock-based compensation accounting, equity reporting, and related tax and financial reporting matters in a fast-growing fintech environment.

You will work with Finance, Tax, Legal and HR, support monthly close, disclosures, and audit readiness, and help enhance controls and automate processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 5+ years in public accounting, technical accounting, or corporate accounting.
• Strong U.S. GAAP and ASC 718/740 knowledge.
• Ability to analyze complex equity transactions and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, near-term close of stock-based compensation under ASC 718.
• Prepare stock compensation calculations and forecasts.
• Analyze equity transactions including RSUs, grants, exercises, vesting.
• Prepare disclosures and supporting analyses for financials and regulators.
• Assist with tax accounting analyses related to equity.
• Coordinate with auditors and maintain SOX controls around equity reporting.
