Job summary

Humana is seeking an experienced and strategic Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Integration & Value Creation to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, aligning strategy with execution to realize measurable value and sustained operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Operations, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategy execution, transformation, integration, consulting, operations, or corporate development.
• Proven success leading complex enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in highly matrixed organizations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience developing business cases, synergy models, and value realization plans.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration planning and execution for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic enterprise initiatives.
• Develop integration frameworks, governance structures, and operating models that support business objectives.
• Establish Day 1 readiness plans, stabilization milestones, and long-term integration roadmaps.
• Identify and mitigate integration risks while ensuring continuity of business operations.
• Define value creation opportunities and measurable business outcomes aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Translate strategic objectives into executable programs that deliver operational, financial, and organizational benefits.
• Develop business cases, synergy targets, and realization plans in partnership with Finance and business leaders.
• Monitor and report value realization metrics, ensuring accountability for outcomes and corrective actions where needed.
