Job summary

The Mutual Group is seeking a visionary AVP, Enterprise Architecture to define and drive the enterprise architecture strategy across policy administration, billing, claims, underwriting, and digital channels for a multi-member P&C platform.

You will lead architecture governance, ensure alignment with security and regulatory requirements, and enable scalable, reusable platforms across multiple mutual insurers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive technology and architecture experience, including 7+ years in enterprise architecture leadership.
• Strong experience in P&C insurance architecture and core platforms such as Guidewire, cloud-native architecture, and data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy across business, application, data, and cloud architectures.
• Lead multi-member P&C platform architecture for policy administration, billing, and claims.
• Provide architecture leadership for M&A onboarding and integration of new member companies.
• Establish architecture governance, standards, and reference architectures across the enterprise.
• Guide cloud, integration, data, AI, and security architecture with security-by-design practices.
