Job summary

The Mutual Group in the United States is seeking an AVP, Enterprise Architecture to define and drive the enterprise architecture strategy across business capabilities, data, cloud, security, integration, AI, and digital platforms. This role leads a multi‑member shared services environment supporting P&C insurance lines.

You will shape target‑state architectures, partner with executives, govern architecture standards, and guide M&A integration to bring new members onto a common platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive technology and architecture experience with 7+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong experience in P&C insurance, including policy, billing, claims, underwriting and regulatory considerations.
• Hands-on experience with core insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Insurity; multi‑platform experience.
• Experience leading M&A, onboarding, or integration of P&C insurers and platform consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy across multiple architecture domains.
• Lead architecture governance, chair boards, and ensure alignment with standards and security.
• Guide architecture for a multi‑member P&C platform spanning policy administration to digital channels.
• Drive platform rationalization, reuse, and onboarding of new members onto a shared services model.
• Provide leadership for M&A and integration initiatives with data migration and system interoperability.
