Job summary

Vizient, Inc. in Chicago seeks an AVP, Engineering Group Lead to be the senior technical leader for a domain cluster.

You will translate product and enterprise strategy into executable plans, coach Engineering Managers, and oversee cross-team delivery of secure, scalable solutions. You will establish standards, coordinate roadmaps, assess risk, and serve as the primary escalation point with architecture, product and business stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence and organizational

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead multiple cross-functional teams toward aligned delivery outcomes.
• Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices including cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, observability, and DevOps.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare.
• Background supporting or leading infrastructure/platform engineering or shared services teams.
• Familiarity with hybrid and distributed team models.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional delivery with quarterly roadmaps and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate complex initiatives across domains with EMs and product partners.
• Establish standards and best practices across teams.
• Provide escalation point for delivery risks and impediments.
• Interface with VP and business stakeholders to align strategy.
