Job summary

LPL Financial LLC in Fort Mill, SC, is seeking an AVP Tech, Engineering Cyber Security to design, implement, and support enterprise IAM systems across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with security, development, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure authentication, authorization, provisioning, and identity life cycle processes meet policy and regulatory requirements.

This role requires a strong background in IAM platforms (SSO, SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, LDAP) and hands‑on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 6+ years in IAM or related roles.
• Master's degree plus 4+ years acceptable as alternative.
• Demonstrated expertise with IAM systems and security concepts.
• Experience with SSO and protocols: SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, LDAP.
• Experience with PingIdentity/ForgeRock or similar IAM products.
• Experience configuring policies, identity lifecycle, and provisioning workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise IAM systems and services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, provisioning, and identity life cycle processes.
• Configure, customize, and maintain IAM components for secure access.
• Integrate identity services with applications using REST APIs, connectors, and directories.
• Develop and maintain configurations, policies, workflows, and audit documentation.
• Provide monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of IAM environments.
• Support upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements across on‑premises and cloud.
• Collaborate with security, development, infra, and cloud teams to onboard apps and ensure compliance.
• Participate in audits, assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
