Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an AVP Tech, Engineering Cyber Security to lead IAM design, implementation, and operations in Fort Mill, SC. You will work across security, development, infrastructure, and cloud teams to secure access for users and applications.

Responsibilities include configuring IAM policies, lifecycle workflows, integration with enterprise apps, and supporting audits to meet regulatory requirements. A strong background in SSO, protocols, and cloud IAM is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field with six (6) years (or four (4) years for Master’s) of IAM experience.
• Expertise with IAM systems, security concepts, and enterprise IAM solutions.
• Experience implementing and supporting SSO and authentication/authorization protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP).
• Experience with PingIdentity/ForgeRock IAM platforms or similar products.
• Experience configuring IAM policies, lifecycle management, and provisioning workflows.
• Experience installing and supporting IAM in on-prem and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Experience integrating IAM with enterprise applications via REST APIs, SCIM, or standard methods.
• Experience troubleshooting IAM, monitoring, and ensuring compliance and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support IAM systems and services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, provisioning, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Configure and maintain IAM components for secure access across users, apps, and systems.
• Integrate identity services with internal and external applications via APIs and directory tech.
• Develop configurations, policies, workflows, and documentation for audits.
• Provide ongoing operational support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of IAM systems.
• Assist in upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard applications and maintain IAM operations.
• Participate in audits and compliance activities to meet internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop process improvements and enhance IAM service capabilities.
