Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber Detect and Respond organization seeks an Associate Vice President to lead the delivery, strategy, and financial performance of managed SOC engagements. You will guide onshore and offshore teams to solve complex cybersecurity challenges and drive the evolution of threat detection and response capabilities.

The role requires a deep background in security operations, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multi-faceted client engagements across a growing service line.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security monitoring, security engineering, or security analytics.
• 10+ years of experience leading cybersecurity managed-services delivery or SOC operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• Ability to travel up to 50% depending on client engagements.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end managed SOC delivery for assigned clients, including SLA performance and data protection.
• Translate threat intel into detection logic, use cases, and client reporting; expand coverage with UEBA/detection.
• Set and execute roadmaps for Cyber Detect and Respond services, including SIEM modernization and SOAR capabilities.
• Lead onshore and offshore teams, oversee performance, development, and incident response.
• Own engagement financial performance, governance, staffing, forecasting, and client relationships.
