Job summary

Deloitte’s Cyber Detect and Respond team seeks an experienced AVP to own delivery, strategy, and financial performance of managed SOC engagements across onshore and offshore teams. You will drive threat-detection capabilities and client outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leading security operations, translating threat intel into detections, and shaping roadmaps for SIEM modernization and SOAR. A strong background in managed services is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security monitoring, security engineering, or security analytics, including leading managed SOC or detection and response services.
• 10+ years of experience leading cybersecurity managed-services delivery, SOC operations, or transformation programs with client delivery, staffing, financial management, and account planning.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information security, mathematics, decision sciences, risk management, mechanical/ electrical/ industrial engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end managed SOC delivery for assigned clients, including SLAs, service quality, data protection, and continuous improvement of detection and response capabilities.
• Translate threat intelligence into detection logic, use cases, response playbooks, and client reporting; expand coverage with UEBA and anomaly-based detection.
• Set and execute roadmaps for Cyber Detect and Respond services, including SIEM modernization, cloud migrations, automation, and SOAR capabilities.
• Lead onshore and offshore teams; oversee performance, development, escalation management, and complex incident investigations.
