Job summary

Deloitte, a leading global professional services firm, seeks an Associate Vice President in Cyber Detect and Respond to own delivery, strategy, and financial performance of managed SOC engagements. You will lead onshore and offshore teams to solve advanced cybersecurity challenges and drive ongoing client impact.

The role requires 10+ years in security monitoring or SOC leadership, a computing-related bachelor’s degree, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in security monitoring, security analytics, or security engineering.
Experience leading managed-SOC or detection and response services and delivery teams.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information security, mathematics, decision sciences, risk management, mechanical or electrical engineering, or industrial engineering.
Ability to travel up to 50% and willingness to work with onshore and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end managed SOC delivery for assigned clients, ensuring SLA performance and data protection.
Translate threat intelligence into detection logic, use cases, and client reporting; expand coverage using UEBA and anomaly detection.
Set roadmaps for Cyber Detect and Respond services, including SIEM modernization, cloud migrations, automation, and SOAR capabilities.
Oversee onshore and offshore teams, including performance, development, escalation management, and incident remediation.
Own engagement financials—margin, utilization, staffing, forecasting, and account planning.
