Job summary

Truity Credit Union is seeking an AVP, Core & Applications to provide strategic direction and operational leadership for the core banking platform, enterprise applications, automation, workflow, and AI-enabled technologies. You will oversee staff, governance, and security while aligning technology with organizational goals.

You will translate business needs into practical technology solutions, improve processes, and advance responsible AI integration within risk and compliance boundaries.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of core banking platforms, business applications, integrations, and financial institution operations.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees.
• Experience with enterprise automation and workflow design.
• Experience managing vendors and large technology initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow software or evaluating emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership across core banking platform and enterprise applications.
• Oversee reliability, security, and performance of core systems.
• Lead and develop Applications staff, with succession planning.
• Translate business objectives into technology roadmaps and programs.
• Ensure AI-enabled solutions meet data protection and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate releases, upgrades, and integrations with minimal disruption.
