Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, Cloud Technical Product Owner will be responsible for defining, planning, and leading the delivery of cloud initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions that meet business objectives and customer needs. The AVP will prioritize product features, manage the product lifecycle, and ensure the successful delivery and adoption of cloud products.
We offer flexibility with options to work remotely or from our offices. Occasional travel to our nearest office may be required for in-person activities such as meetings, training, and events.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for cloud-based products and services.
- Align product strategy with business objectives and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value and customer feedback.
- Ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams for product development and delivery.
- Engage stakeholders for requirements gathering, updates, and alignment.
- Oversee product development to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Work with development teams on user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
- Analyze customer feedback for product improvements.
- Monitor product performance and adoption metrics.
- Report on product performance and improvement opportunities to leadership.
- Stay updated on cloud product management trends and best practices.
- Partner with Journey product Manager to set aligned goals.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and delivery using Jira and other tools.
- Maintain Jira Boards and define releases and program increments.
- Work closely with technology leaders and Agile teams.
- Ensure compliance with policies during implementation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage diverse IT teams, including engineers, designers, and vendors.
- Promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Ensure documentation supports development, testing, and UAT.
- Travel as needed for discovery and project sessions.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree + 4+ years IT experience or High School diploma/GED + 7+ years Product/Project Management experience.
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certification.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect - Associate.
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), cloud security, networking, RDS, streaming, caching.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools.
Desired Characteristics:

- Industry experience in financial services, payments, or retail.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
- Proven solutions delivery, customer experience improvement, and industry trend knowledge.

- Understanding of data encryption, PII standards, and related technologies.
- Creative, proactive, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Experience with AI solutions and compliance adherence.
Grade/Level: 11
Salary range: $90,000 - $155,000 annually, with bonus potential. Compensation varies based on experience and market adjustments.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Willing to undergo drug testing, background checks, and fingerprinting.
- Must meet federal requirements for banking employment.
