Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks an Associate Vice President of Clinical Insights to lead the enterprise strategy for clinical insights products.

You will shape vision, governance, and a multi-year roadmap, and oversee a comprehensive dashboard to monitor clinical excellence across members and patients. You will manage leaders and teams, partner with engineering and business units, and drive data-driven action across the health plan and CenterWell organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, math, computer science, health sciences, or public health.
• 15+ years of related professional experience.
• 10+ years of people management experience, including leading leaders and multiple teams.
• 10+ years of deep expertise in clinical analytics, clinical or population health strategy, quality improvement including use of AI.
• Experience at a payer or integrated health system with claims and EHR data.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and translate into enterprise strategy.

Responsibilities

• Create and own the enterprise clinical insights vision, mission, strategy, and 2–4 year roadmap.
• Oversee strategy, design, QA, and governance of a dashboard monitoring enterprise clinical excellence.
• Govern the clinical excellence dashboard across business units to enable data-driven actions.
• Direct multiple teams including measurement science, stratification and predictive modeling, and provider quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and leaders to turn measurement into action across the enterprise.
• Lead cross-functional performance improvement, prioritize interventions, and measure value realization.
• Lead planning, staffing, budgeting, and talent decisions for the function.
• Represent Humana on initiatives aligned with enterprise strategy.
