Job summary

CNA is seeking an AVP of Claims Recovery in a flexible hybrid environment. This officer-level role will set the strategic direction for recovery operations, lead 25+ claims professionals, and oversee training, development, and key initiatives across the Claims organization.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 10+ years in claims with 5+ years in management, and certifications preferred. Base pay information is provided in-country guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in finance, business or related field or equivalent.
• Typically 10+ years claims experience with 5+ years in management; leadership of leaders preferred.
• Applicable certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for recovery operations and drive performance improvements.
• Lead a team of 25+ claims professionals including direct and indirect reports.
• Oversee recovery training, technical development, and key initiatives.
• Coordinate with underwriting, legal, staff counsel and actuarial to share market insights.
• Monitor metrics and ensure timely investigation and management of high-exposure files.
