MetLife, Inc. is seeking an AVP, AI Orchestration to bridge enterprise AI strategy with delivery across US Technology and US Businesses. You will shape how AI capabilities are applied, govern platforms, and drive measurable business outcomes.

You will lead governance, tooling, adoption, and impact measurement, partnering with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Data Governance. This role demands 10+ years of tech leadership, strong executive presence, and a proven track record in AI enablement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years technology leadership across engineering, product or delivery.
• 4+ years leading enterprise transformation with measurable impact.
• Ability to influence CIO-level leaders and build coalitions.
• Experience driving large-scale adoption across teams or business areas.
• Hands-on fluency with modern AI capabilities and tooling.
• Knowledge of responsible AI governance and risk in regulated industries.
• Translate technical concepts for executive audiences.
• Experience mobilizing virtual teams and communities of practice.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI adoption across planning, engineering, delivery, governance, and comms.
• Create an enterprise AI capability catalog of tools and patterns.
• Lead a network of AI champions through playbooks and training.
• Define adoption metrics and demonstrate business impact.
• Establish guardrails with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Data Governance.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate to policy.
• Drive tooling strategy and vendor recommendations to CIO.
• Embed AI across requirements, code, testing, and delivery.
• Represent US Technology’s AI strategy with partners and analysts.
