Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or CPA mandatory; estate planning and business insurance knowledge.
• 10+ years of related experience in financial planning and advisory roles.
• Credentials: CLU, ChFC or CFP; FINRA Series 6 required or to be obtained.

• Draft and create written materials for producers and field professionals.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a AVP-Advanced Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead advanced financial planning support for complex, high-value cases and help shape technical guidance used by producers and field professionals. The position blends deep knowledge of tax, legal, and product considerations with hands-on case consultation at the point of sale. You will also direct team activities, support departmental goals, and contribute written materials that help drive effective client solutions.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $179,000 – $285,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and recommendations for complex financial planning cases
• Draft and create written materials for producers and professionals in the field
• Direct and strategize activities in the advanced solutions area
• Manage and motivate staff effectively to achieve departmental goals
• Assist with complex, high-value cases at the point of sale
• Maintain expertise in tax and legal matters in relevant domains
• Handle other related duties and special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited school and bar admission in at least one state, or CPA designation
• 10+ years of related experience
• Broad understanding of the sales process and state/federal laws in estate planning and business insurance
• Solid understanding of qualified plans and product features/market trends
• CLU, ChFC, and/or CFP designation is required
• FINRA Series 6 registration is required or must be obtained within 18 months
