Job summary

IAT Insurance Group is seeking an AVP, Actuary to lead actuarial efforts for Management Liability across EPLI, Crime, and D&O coverages. The role may supervise and matrix-manage analytics staff while collaborating with underwriting and claims teams. Hybrid office schedule with possible remote work on Thursday and Friday.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in P&C insurance, strong leadership, and a propensity for strategic business support; FCAS is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 10 years of related work experience.
• Solid P&C commercial insurance background, with Management Liability familiarity.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, and train staff.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial pricing, reserving, and rate-making analyses for Management Liability.
• Support rate filings and annual planning activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional analytics support and communicate results to leadership.
• Develop and maintain capital allocation models to measure risk-adjusted performance.
• Estimate loss reserves for financial statements and determine product rates.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, IT, and senior management on product development.
• Evaluate reinsurance options and monitor profitability by dimension.
• Lead and mentor the analytics team as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
