Job summary

Antares Capital LP, located in New York, is seeking an AVP, Accounting Policy to lead technical accounting oversight and assist in financial reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities include coordinating the implementation of new accounting standards, reviewing financial statements for compliance, and developing training on technical topics. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and CPA with 6+ years of experience, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm.

Qualifications

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Public accounting experience; Big 4 preferred is a plus.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical information into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead/assist in providing technical accounting oversight.
• Manage implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP.
