Job summary

AV is seeking an Electronics/Avionics/Production Technician II to perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on avionics systems. The role focuses on high-precision wire harness assembly, soldering, crimping, and connector work for UAV-related hardware.

The candidate should read complex assembly drawings, work with schematics, and utilize diagnostic tools. The position requires IPC 610, J-STD-001, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications, and may involve travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of working experience required.
• Excellent wire soldering, stripping, crimping, and heat shrink skills with cable shields.
• Able to read and understand assembly drawings and written work instructions.
• Adept at wire harness assembly using schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with dedicated contact crimping tools for connector contacts.
• Experience assembling circular connectors.
• Certifications IPC 610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620.
• Experience in UAV wire harness manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and service systems.
• Diagnose problems and troubleshoot equipment.
