Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking an Avionics/Electronics Technician II to perform maintenance on aircraft electronic components in a bench repair setting. You will inspect, test, repair and document work according to FAA-approved manuals, ensuring traceability and airworthiness.

The role requires reading schematics, handling advanced electronics, and applying precision hand tools. Candidates should have a related degree or equivalent experience and be prepared for a safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 2-year electronic degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of demonstrated relevant experience or 3–4 years with HS diploma.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, prints and schematics.
• Strong technical computer system knowledge (hardware & software).
• Self-motivated, organized and able to balance multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, test and repair avionics/electronic components in bench environment.
• Trace signal flow, interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
• Perform soldering, cable, crimp, and harness fabrication; inspect for defects.
• Test equipment under simulated/actual conditions and document results.
• Enter data and complete maintenance paperwork per FAA regulations.
