$3,000 Sign-On Bonus Eligible.

The compensation range for this role is $25.52 - $29.77 per hour.

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years related work experience or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics. Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Position Purpose

Assists in troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to minimize schedule impact. Implements process improvements to reduce costs and meet schedules without compromising safety or quality.

Responsibilities

1. Demonstrates basic technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
2. Performs installation and testing of electrical/avionics components per specifications, ensuring defect-free systems.
3. Ensures quality and efficiency of installations, troubleshooting to provide timely repairs.
4. Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring, demonstrating effective techniques.
5. Implements engineering changes and modifications as required.
6. Sets up and operates test equipment, conducting functional tests.
7. Documents all work performed for inspection readiness.
8. Tests and maintains test equipment and electronic systems.
9. Follows safety and tool control regulations.

Additional Functions: May include flight tests during aircraft certification. Performs other duties as assigned.
