Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Perryville, MO is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair avionics units (Navs, Comb, Pulse, Radar, Audio and Autopilot) and related aircraft systems on site.

You will perform panel removal/installation, system evaluation and provide hands-on maintenance with both team and customer interaction. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; electronics or avionics factory training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and/or passport are ideal but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support items on aircraft, including panel removal and component installation.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate avionics and aircraft systems.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; verify performance of systems.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Collaborate with customers in project management, pricing and support roles.
• Work independently on projects and communicate effectively in English.
• Navigate training manuals and maintenance databases with basic computer skills.
