Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician in Conroe, TX to troubleshoot and repair avionics units to the component level, including Navs, Coms, Radar, and Autopilot systems, as well as related aircraft systems.

The role requires a high school diploma (electronics/avionics training preferred) and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork. Training opportunities, benefits from day one, and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics/avionics training preferred.
• Valid driver's license for airline travel and/or valid passport ideal but not mandatory.
• Experience levels range from Tech I (0–2 yrs) to Master Technician (6+ yrs).

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support on aircraft, including removal/installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft.
• Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components.
• Aircraft movement and performance verification of systems.
• Maintain shop facility, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Work with customer in project management, pricing and customer support roles.
• Work independently on projects.
• Communicate effectively in English.
