Job summary

Ideal candidates have five or more years of depot-level avionics experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work from OEM data and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate for Avionics.
• Minimum of five years of recent depot-level aircraft avionics experience.
• Experience repairing aircraft electrical systems.
• Experience with flight control systems.
• Experience with aircraft instrumentation.
• Strong aircraft wiring experience.
• Ability to interpret avionics and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Experience with wire identification.
• Experience fabricating wiring harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install and test aircraft avionics and electrical systems in accordance with FAA requirements.
• Perform routine and special inspections of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
• Complete operational and functional checks on navigation systems.
• Inspect and test aircraft communication systems.
• Support flight control system maintenance.
