Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Day Shift Avionics Technician 2/3 in Saint Augustine, FL. The role focuses on installing and testing avionics systems, reading schematics, and supporting flight operations with limited supervision.

Required are a high school diploma and 2–4 years of related avionics experience, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and eligibility to obtain Secret DoD clearance. Overtime and bonuses may apply; 4/10 shift pattern is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years related flight line avionics experience.
• Able to perform moderate strenuous work and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain Secret DoD clearance & pass respirator evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots avionics systems wiring in aircraft per specs and FAA regs.
• Supports flight operations and avionics systems testing.
• Reads wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• May train or check the work of lower-level employees.
• Routinely checks work to avoid costly errors.
• Provides data/information on moderately important matters.
