Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking qualified candidates for SCA Aircraft Electronics Technician 2 or 3 in the Flight Operations organization, located at Ellsworth AFB, SD. The role requires work on an aircraft flightline across shifts, with travel and training obligations, and obtaining a U.S. government Secret clearance prior to starting.

The position includes potential relocation assistance, relocation or training requirements, and opportunities for advancement within a leading defense contractor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 4–6 years of related aviation electronics experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and train at various locations for 24 weeks.
• Ability to work on an aircraft flightline year-round, across all shifts and weekend duty.
• Ability to obtain Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) certification and enrollment within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company, and maintenance of same.
• Ability to obtain and maintain final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots avionics systems wiring in aircraft in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and customer regulations.
• Installs and tests installation, routing, clamping and wiring harnesses.
• Reads wiring diagrams and technical data.
• Provides on-the-job training to customer personnel per customer needs.
