Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Technical Trainer III to lead the development, design, and delivery of comprehensive technical training content for internal and external customers. This role supports on-site and remote client training, collaborating with product management, engineers, and program managers to ensure accuracy and relevance.

You will administer LMS, maintain up-to-date content, and advise on training materials while ensuring alignment with aviation/DoD regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field and experience in technical training.
• Experience with aircraft avionics and regulatory standards related to DoD/DoA training.
• Ability to create, update, and manage technical training content and assessments.
• Proven ability to deliver training both on-site and remotely to diverse audiences.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, design, and implementation of technical training content and materials.
• Deliver on-site and remote training sessions for internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with product management, engineers, and program managers to gather content and ensure accuracy.
• Provide expert guidance on training materials and programs.
• Collect feedback and continuously improve training programs.
• Develop evaluation criteria to measure training effectiveness.
• Maintain and update training content to keep it current.
• Administer Learning Management Systems (LMS) and user access.
• Mentor and guide less experienced technical trainers.
