Job summary

Vertical Mag in Colorado Springs is seeking an Avionics Aircraft Mechanic I to troubleshoot and repair electrical and environmental systems on CH-53E, MH-60, and related aircraft. You will install wiring circuits, test electronic circuitry, and perform final functional tests of electrical systems.

You must excel at PMI inspections, wire/connector repair, and using diagnostic equipment to develop and modify test programs while supporting maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Skilled electrician with PMI inspection ability and maintenance on H-60 helicopters.
• Extensive knowledge in wire and connector repair.
• Experience with environmental and electronic instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install aircraft wiring circuits and perform final tests.
• Test electrical and environmental systems and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Set-up diagnostic programs and operate test equipment for system tests.
• Assist in modifications and changes to environmental/electronic systems.
