Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, FL seeks motivated students for an internship/co-op in systems engineering for avionics CNS products. You will participate in an integrated product team and assist in the full product development lifecycle.

You will gain hands-on experience in requirements management, systems architecture, test planning and data analysis, and help document engineering work in compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a collaborative integrated product team and support the design, integration, verification and validation of avionics CNS products.
• Actively work in the full product development life-cycle activities and gain hands-on experience in requirements management, systems architecture, test planning and data analysis.
• Assist in documentation of engineering work in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
