Job summary

RTX is seeking a student or early-career engineer in Melbourne, FL to join our avionics CNS team. You will participate in a collaborative product team and support design, integration, verification and validation across the full product development life cycle.

This internship/co-op offers hands-on experience in requirements management, systems architecture, test planning and data analysis, with opportunities to document engineering work in compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, integration, verification and validation of avionics CNS products across the full product development lifecycle.
• Engage in requirements management, systems architecture, test planning and data analysis.
• Assist in documenting engineering work in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
