Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, validate, and verify cockpit avionics for US Army SOA programs such as MH-60M and MH-47G. You will perform requirements-based testing in a lab, support cross-functional teams, and work with various engineering tools.

Candidates should have a STEM degree and experience with data buses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429). Familiarity with TNT, DOORS, PREP, JIRA, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems engineering practices.
• Knowledge of data buses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429).

Responsibilities

• Design, requirements, validation, and verification for cockpit avionics.
• Conduct lab-based platform systems testing with flexible scheduling.
• Collaborate with external customers and internal software/hardware teams.
• Utilize TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN, and related tools.
• Investigate lab hardware interfaces with Collins Aerospace equipment.
