Job summary

Sunset Search LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a Systems Engineer – Avionics Integration to join a cross-functional team responsible for requirements definition, architecture, verification, and certification support for safety-critical avionics systems.

You'll collaborate with hardware, software, and flight-test teams to ensure compliance with FAA and DoD standards, MBSE-driven design, and robust system integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in aerospace, electrical, or systems engineering.
  • 5–10 years in avionics systems engineering or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754A standards.
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools.
  • Security clearance (or eligibility) preferred.

About the Role
